Senior tech Keith Lumpkin went above and beyond. Quickly diagnosed ongoing issues with a new and poor install by another vendor. On the way to being fixed the correct way he even returned without us asking to tweak the system till the work can get done in just a couple of days. We are finally in good hands.

I recently moved into a 48 year old home and knew the furnace was old so I signed up for Angie’s deal with Empire as I had already checked out the reputation of this company. Technician was excellent, never pushy but gave me the information I needed to know about my furnace while bringing it to it’s optimum efficiency. Just what I needed.
I’ve used Empire since I bought my house in 1990. Most recently they installed a new exterior HVAC unit at my house. My old unit was having problems just as we were experiencing the very cold weather of late February. On two separate occasions, Empire came out the same day I called to see what was up with the old unit. They researched new package units to give me a quote while I was debating whether to replace the unit. Once I decided to go ahead they ordered the new American Standard unit, got it in and scheduled installation in just a few days. The installation was very smooth, with a crew of three outside the whole of a cold day making sure it was in and completely functional. They even painted the old gas line to the unit so that it looked better, which I thought was an incredibly nice thing to do.
From our first contact through the installation, our experience with Empire was a very good one.
Chris evaluated our existing systems and listened to our needs and preferences. His proposal covered everything we discussed. It was a good balance of cost and efficiency. Of the three proposals we received, his was the most clear and detailed. Chris also quickly answered all our follow-up questions. The price was competitive.
The installation crew was prompt, efficient, and clearly experienced in working together. Pat, TJ, Ben, and Mike took care in and around our home. The installation was neat and all areas cleaned. Pat took the time to ensure we understood and could use all the new features of the digital controls. He has a wealth of experience and understanding that was evident in his coordination of all aspects of the installation.
Our job was an extensive one. Even minor issues were fully addressed, and we are very pleased with the outcome and Empire’s professionalism.
Had HVAC completely replaced. The old one was in the crawl space under the house, and the new one was installed in the attic. Overall, I’m very pleased with Empire and would absolutely recommend them. I will point out an excellent customer experience. My old furnace was completely dead, and It was very, very cold. They went out of their way to get the heat up and running as quickly as possible, even going above and beyond a normal workday. They never promised this, they just knew how cold it was in the house, they took the initiative, and it was a real delight for them to offer and deliver. We slept soundly in a warm bedroom the night before they came out to finish adding the AC to the system. It’s little things like that that makes a business exceptional! Oh.. and one another delight, they had some materials left over from another job and used them to cover up the gas line up the side of the house. Again, another surprise and great customer experience.
